The fun of music and dance provides a sense of unity and altruism and brings people together in a time when we need it most.
Music and dance are key elements to the Guardians of the Galaxy films. The mix tape given to Peter by his late mother is the most valuable object to him in the entire galaxy. He even references Kevin Bacon in Footloose stating that “dancing is the greatest thing there is...".
The public was invited to celebrate the fun factor in Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 using DOOH as a way to listen, watch, and dance along with the characters.
In this project, as the Creative I worked closely with the Creative Director to develop the creative response and pitch. The initial conceptual development up until the final execution played a big role in in getting it signed off. We went through 5 rounds of conceptual and visual story-telling to sell this concept in. I was able to work on every step of the project to bring this activation to life. Below you can see some of the exploration from this process.
