Education is not a one-size fits all. It has to be versatile — fluid enough to be molded, and strong enough to provide support for teachers and learners alike. That’s how life evolves: by absorbing the present and adapting to better fit the future. So naturally, we built a platform that does just that. By embracing evolution’s natural process to combine beautiful form and breathtaking function, we’re enabling learners and teachers to move beyond survival, and begin to thrive at any stage of their journey. The next evolution in education is here.

 

Infosys DARWIN (Digital Academia Reimagined With Integrated Networks) is a modular platform enhancing and unifying the academic experience through a fully connected, socially driven platform, enabling greater collaboration.

 

We were tasked with bringing the DARWIN name to life with a brand identity that captures how the platform creates stronger learners and educators. 

The visual identity is inspired by the origins of “Kindergarten” and “Froebel's Gifts” as a method of modern education. This method later influenced architecture and design and created movements such as Bauhaus – which signaled a shift from emotional expressionism to rational, honest, functional design much like DARWIN. 

 

Creating modular form and function, the geometric shapes and shifting motion graphics symbolize the building blocks of education and customized functionality of Darwin. It feels approachable for K-12 but sophisticated enough for higher education and educators. 

 

 

The finch in the logo mark brings to life the science of Darwinism and becomes a moniker for the brand ethos.
