AT&T asked us to help them dream up the future-tense of what the myAT&T app could look like to transition from functional payment option to life-enhancing tool.
The prototype demonstrates the desired new role of AT&T in our user’s life, effortlessly making their life better, seamlessly transitioning to a lifestyle brand, without ever being intrusive.
To efficiently scale this product across both IOS and Android with multiple screen sizes, I was tasked with establishing a Style Guide and Design System of reusable components that is guided by a clear set of standards and guidelines. I first did a visual audit of the prototype and AT&T brand guidelines to establish a UI inventory of different patterns, color, text styles, and assets used. Using principles found in Atomic Design Methodology I rebuilt the elements, components, and modules to follow a more deliberate hierarchy based on an 8pt grid spacing system.
